Extra Credit

This project was made to blend the warm tones of orange into the cool tones of lavender using a safe green paint. The swirls and the mixing are indicative of the clashing of cool and warm as it does in the weather around us.

Series/Final Project

This series of art work compliments the warm and neutral tones of my household. I wanted to creat art that was personal to me and my lifestyle and incorporated textures and different mediums. A thick thistle rope was used to add more texture. Wooden letters compliment the wood tones in my household, as well as giving a natural outside feeling. The burlap is also a natural fabric that was used. Overall I have really enjoyed my last project and can't wait to display it in my home.

Scratch Board

This piece is representing of the pinks and greens in nature. The flowers in the painting are meant to be secondary to the waves and different hues and intensities of the pink colors, including purples and faint pinks. The colors in the piece represent the prettiness of the nature around us.

Design Board 2

This board represents the muted tones of the color scheme of red/yellow/orange. This colors are complimentary of each other and work really well together. The prints are of organic nature and have many soft curves. The pictures represent the things that one might see in nature at a microscopic level.

Design Board

This piece incorporates the soft edges and designs that are represented in the science world. The colors compliment each other in some squares and are the opposite of each other in other squares.

Cross

This is a traditional cross with decorative beads and golden paint. It has white texture in the middle, that adds substance and depth. It is meant to symbolize the hope and faith in life with the paintings of mountains in the background. This is a religious piece, with strong blue and gold tones.
